THE FIRST BANK LANGUAGE ASSISTANCE PLAN FOR LIMITED ENGLISH PROFICIENCY CUSTOMERS
The First Bank (the “Bank”) strives to meet the needs of its entire community. In order to assist in accomplishing this goal, the Bank has developed this Language Assistance Plan (“LAP”) in an effort to meet the needs of those with limited English proficiency (“LEP”).
To properly service customers and non-customers with limited English proficiency, the Bank will incorporate one or more of the following as applicable and necessary:
- Continue monitoring markets where we operate to assess LAP sufficiency and needs.
- Use of Spanish-speaking employees in the Bank’s Call Center, subject to availability and applicability.
- Consider utilizing translation technologies, subject to TPRM review, monitoring, and third-party vendor certification.
Additionally, the Bank will welcome a bilingual friend, family member or translator of a LEP customer to assist with translation.
